Picked this video up on the great neighborhood Mission Mission blog. I don't usually dabble in hip hop too much but this is definitely a catchy one!

The Mae Shi have taken TMZ's audio feed of Christian Bale freaking out on the set of "Terminator Salvation" and turned it into a catchy tune! Check it out. Way to be johnny on the spot!
Also, I highly recommend listening to the audioclip on TMZ. It's insane.

The New Year has released a video for "Seven Days And Seven Nights"...except this is an exclusively piano and vocal rendition of the song! As a frequent traveler myself, I can appreciate the feeling they captured here - I call it the "Lost In Translation" moment. It's that moment where you are listening to a dreamy song on your iPod in a foreign city, a million people hurriedly fly by you in a rush to get on with their lives...and you feel kinda lonely.
My most memorable "Lost In Translation" moment? 2005, in Kowloon, Hong Kong while listening to "Lover's Spit" by Broken Social Scene.

I just got a splendid press release:
BENJAMIN GIBBARD ANNOUNCES NEW SIDE PROJECT
Benjamin Gibbard (Death Cab For Cutie) is proud to announce a new musical project called Just Jazzin'. Born out of an interest in exploring music free from rules and convention, Just Jazzin' offers the world a chance to see another side of Ben.
"....There's this side of me and my music that desires a lack of structure and Just Jazzin' does that for me because I am allowed to just play whatever note comes into my head.", says Ben.
