Yip! The new Bottom Of The Hudson LP, Fantastic Hawk drops July 17th on Absolutely Kosher. The boys spent nearly a year holed up in various studios, playing with new textures and instruments. Sounds like the Bottom Of The Hudson of old, but slightly more optimistic/anthemic. And with the cleanest production I've ever heard from them!

1 dead, 4 injured in van crash on I-40
A staff report
A single-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 left one person dead in Sampson County on Sunday afternoon, delaying traffic in the westbound lanes of the interstate for nearly two hours.
Killed was Jon Trevor Butler, 28, of Cimmeron Drive Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The accident happened at 3:20 p.m. on I-40, 8 miles west of Faison around the 350-mile marker, said Sgt. Joel Siles of the state Highway Patrol.
Five members of a rock band, in the midst of a tour of the East Coast, were riding in the vehicle, a 1991 Ford work van.
Traveling west, the van veered off the road following a blowout of the right rear tire, Siles said. The van then overturned several times, throwing Butler from the vehicle.
Butler, who was sitting in the center of the second seat, was the only passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt, according to Siles.
Four other passengers were hurt, with “several” having to be hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, Siles said. The most serious was Greg Lyetle, a 26-year-old from Pennsylvania.
William Chambers, 23, of Washington, D.C., was driving the van.
