Apparently now it's cool to cover Yes! Today's track finds the Grizzlebees doing a stripped down and droney version of the Yes classic, "Owner Of A Lonely Heart".

The Joggers - Long Distance Runaround (Yes Cover)
(Sorry, I'm having Lost withdrawal or something!)
Labels: COVER, EXPERIMENTAL, FOLK, GRIZZLY BEAR, INDIE POP, INDIE ROCK
The Joggers aren't just covering Long Distance Runaround, they're also covering The Fish (Schindleria Praematarus) whch follows it on Fragile - albeit without the proper lyric.
Thanks for the mp3s. The Joggers' cover reminds me of the Presidents of the United States of America cover of "Video Killed the Radio Star" - ironically loving (or lovingly ironic).
I love the photo, but [warning: prog-rock-nerd-alert] it's the Drama-era Yes. Neither of these songs is from that album/line-up.
Wow - that was as awkward of a paragraph to write as I thought it would be.
Great information, you have a wonderful blog and an excellent article!!
