I've been recently enjoying the power pop stylings of Surfer Blood. Part Weezer, part Dodos, and part Shins, it's the music of a good time being had. Their debut Astro Coast is due out January 19th.

Yeasayer has a new album coming out on February 9, 2010 entitled, Odd Blood. They recently released the first single from the album, a track called "Ambling Alp". As a bonus, Memory Tapes has already taken a crack at remixing it!

Been thinking about maybe switching away from the blog format and going to a facebook/twitter feed. Any thoughts? My time for posting has been dwindling recently, new job and wedding prep and all.
