Back from the northwest with some fresh music! You need to check out No-Fi Soul Rebellion - it's a crazy mix of Ghostland Observatory, Prince, and MGMT. Saw a live show by these guys and was blown away by their live performance. If you ever get the chance, go see 'em!

Sea Wolf's got a new album coming out 9/22 entitled, White Water, White Bloom. In a brilliant marketing move, they've released a track that didn't make the album. I like what I hear from "Stanislaus", so if this is a B-side, I can't wait for the proper album!

Lou Barlow's been busy with Sebadoh and Dinosaur Jr. reunions the last few years, but he still had time to record a new solo album! Goodnight Unknown will be released October 6th on Merge. "Gravitate" is a great track - it's personal and intimate, but still has rough edges...the acoustic guitar sounds like it's been dragged through quicksand (in a good way)!
